Carolina Beach State Park is located near Wilmington, North Carolina and is the home to the Venus Flytrap and Sugarloaf Dune, a 50-foot dune that once a navigational marker. Carolina Beach State Park features a full-service marina, full-hookup RV camping, boating and fishing on the Intracoastal Waterway and the Cape Fear River, beaches for swimming, and easy hiking trails.
