Description
The Devil’s Tramping Ground is a barren circle where nothing grows. Legend has it that anything in the circle overnight is thrown out by morning and animals refuse to cross the circle.
According to folklore, this is where the Devil emerges and paces at night plotting his evil deeds—otherwise called tramping and haunting. In the morning, he turns into a crow or other critter to carry out his evil plans of human destruction. He apparently picked the spot for himself. Some people have claimed to have seen glowing red eyes here at night and have objects mysteriously move.
