Description
This 165-acre park is home to a 95-acre lake with a two-mile loop trail that goes around the reservoir with lookouts, seating areas, and exercise stations.
Enjoy nature with more than 2 miles of hiking and biking trails, exercise stations, fishing and boating (sails, paddles and electric motors). Other amenities include a natural Disc Golf Course, parking, a boat ramp with boat and kayak dock, restrooms and a bike repair station.
Kayak and paddle board rentals are available by reservation via Wake Rack, a third-party vendor.

Two covered picnic shelters with grills and picnic tables are available first-come, first serve or to reserve by permit.Several grill sites with individual picnic tables are available first come, first serve by the lake near in front of the shelters.
Need to Know
No swimming or wading in the reservoir. Gas engines are also not allowed on the reservoir.
Reservoir Park is part of the Southern Pines Greenway Trail.
